Mary McCormack was an American actress best known for her role as the main character in TV shows like "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. Also known for her roles in films which include "Private Parts", "Deep Impact", "True Crime" and 1408. McCormack, who was born into a family that had no connection to entertainment in any way in her family tree was the daughter of a clinical therapy professional and the owner of an Ice Cream Parlor. Her professional career started at the age of 12 when she appeared in an onstage production of 'Amahl & the Night Visitors', a Christmas opera. The career of the actress began at the young age of 12 when she was in a stage version of the Christmas musical "Amahl and The Night Visitors'. The actress continued to perform in theatre and ultimately bagged roles on both the small and the big screen. McCormack has been regarded as one of Hollywood's most versatile actors. Michael Morris (producer/director) is the husband of McCormack. They have three daughters.
