Kristen Anne Bell was born in 1980 and is a singer/actress from the USA. She was born in Huntington Woods and raised there. Bell is the daughter of Lorelei Frygier as well as Tom Bell. Her mother is Polish and her father German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen's talent for entertainment was recognized at an early age. Her audition was in 1992, and was then offered the role of Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell was contacted by an agent by her mother at the age of 13 and was subsequently cast as a model on newspapers and television commercials. At this time Bell also started training in private acting. Bell had a small uncredited part in the film Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School, where she was a member of the both the music and drama club. The Wizard of Oz production in her high school earned Bell the role of the lead Dorothy character. After graduating, Bell relocated in New York City to attend the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied musical theater. Bell left the school in 2001, and took on the part of Becky the character of Tom Sawyer. In 2001, it was also that Bell made her first appearance in a credited film, Pootie Tang (2002). Unfortunately her scene has been cut out and the credits only show her. Bell appeared part of the Broadway revival The Crucible starring Liam Neeson & Angela Bettis.
