Jill Hennessy
This resident from Edmonton, Alberta has a mix of ancestry from Irish, Italian, Swedish, French and Ukranian. She has a twin sister named Jacqueline is also an actress. Jill began to master different languages, including Italian, French, Spanish while growing as a child. After she turned twelve years young, she began to become interested in being an actor. She started her acting career in Toronto through David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers playing an escort together with his twin sister. After that, she studied improv-comedy in Second City with Deb Kimmet. Following her move in New York, Claire signed a contract for two years with Law & Order to be the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid. During her three year run in the show, she was also performing in feature films, such as RoboCop 3 (1993), Ron Howard's The Paper (1994), as well as I Shot Andy Warhol (1996). The actress was in several boring films during the subsequent several years before securing an acting role in the miniseries uremberg which was co-produced by Alec Baldwin. Autumn in New York followed and so did Exit Wounds. In 2001, she got the lead role in the NBC-TV crime series Crossing Jordan and in 2007 she took home the Gracie Allen award as "Outstanding Female Actress in the drama Series" due to her role on the show. In 2000, she married fellow actor Paolo Mastropietro. The couple have two children. In 2007 the couple was recognized as a member of the Canadian Walk of Fame.
